Networking tips in MM shops
Having spent several years in MM pods I found networking quite difficult due to secrecy and stress (most ppl got no time for chit chat). Sometimes it gets more awkward with PM and above levels with me feeling like being judged / them being overly inquisitive about my group.
Used to grab lunch/coffee with ppl but WFH made it impossible. I recently switched firm and really struggled to know ppl outside my team.
Any tip/advice on networking effectively in a pod structure (beyond alumni/ex colleagues)? Is it very different in SM shops?
