Networking/Sophomore Internship In Credit Fund?
Hi all,
I am a sophomore at a top NESCAC school and am very interested in credit investing. An alumnus of my school has set up a small fund (9 employees) running slightly under $1 billion, focusing on credit.
I would be very interested in interning at this fund, and wanted to know if you had some advice/recommendations on how to reach out to them? Also, in general, is there a "best-practice" when it comes to reaching out to alumni who founded small funds to obtain internship opportunities (especially when these firms don't really have "structured" internships)?
Thank you!
