On finding a job in US Hedge Fund while being outside the country

Hi!

I'm a portfolio manager in a financial institution located in EMEA region. Everything is fine, but my dream is to become portfolio manager in a growth-oriented hedge fund in the US.

I've tried searching for jobs like this on LinkedIn, but there are literally none of these. Accounting, back office, IT - yes, but nothing about managing money.

Any advice on where to start searching and applying?
