On-site interview - Five Rings Capital
Hi all. I recently got invited by Five Rings NY for an on-site interview. The position is Quant Researcher. Has anyone here had any experience with them?
My background is pure math. So far they have not asked me any finance related questions, but instead focused more on probability/stat. I just want to know what I should expect before coming in. What I am least prepared for are essentially market making questions.
You will not need to prepare for finance questions. Just focus on brainteasers, probability, statistics as well as anything you put on your resume. If you've taken a class in X subject and you put that on your resume be prepared to solve problems/answer questions on that subject.
