PE (AI Manager) + Northwestern MBA in AI pivot to Hedge Fund

I've been working at a lower MM PE firm doing AI (building 30 AI tools, generating PortCo alpha, etc.) in conjunction with getting NU MBA in AI. Recently graduated, and looking to pivot into Hedge Fund space. Any thoughts on getting a trad trading job (analyst) vs. more quant based roles?
