Point72 Academy Winternship
For Point72 analysts,
I was wondering if you could give some info/color on the 2024 summer winternship. I heard is a three week program? Is it common for a wintern to get full-time offer after the program? Ty!

Its been around for a few years now, many people do get return offers and do return. Know of people who did SA at EVR and DE Shaw who took return offers at Point72 from the Winternship.
Thanks for the insights! Do you have an idea of what the recruiting timeline for it looks like? I feel I have a strong profile and haven't heard back yet, but don't want to assume they ghosted me lol
What constitutes a strong profile for you? I’ve seen some people with weak offers do the program
The program exists to capture kids who P72 would normally miss, good example is say girls who did GWI. They get removed from the recruiting process early on (GWI sophomore summer with expedited junior interviews) so the winternship let’s them try out P72 and see if it’s a mutual fit. That said it isn’t a diversity program and offers aren’t handed out like candy, it’s short so you have to impress quickly.
from my understanding they don't start reviewing until after the deadline?
