Post MBA reference checks?
Hi guys:
I’m 1.5 yers into my post MBA gig; there are some issues with the fund and I’m looking to switch. I’m comfortable with providing my current job’s reference after I have an offer (contingent upon reference checks), but don’t want them to contact my current employer now, or my summer internship employer. I can provide positive references to all my past full time though ... do you think these two criteria (no contacting current employer till offer stage, not contacting internship employer) would be an issue?
