Quant developer credentials

WSOers. I've been thinking of pursuing an FI quant fund, and could use your help.

I'm an MBA (non-target) that just passed the third level of the CFA. I've done a little research, and I'm thinking of going back to school for a quant degree. I've only been in PWM/PB and commercial lending (up to $50mm annual revenue).

I know that python, C++, java, and SQL are all languages I need to learn. Then, I need to take the GRE to get into an MS program.

My questions are: 1) Other than the MS programs listed in the parenthesis, what other concentrations would qualify me for a FI quant HF? (financial engineering, statistics, mathematics, econometrics) 2) What credentials are FI quant HFs looking for beside what I've got and the potential masters program completion? 3) Is networking, and my alumni base the best ways to find an opportunity? If not, what do you suggest?

Thanks brethren
