Ray Dalio & Bridgewater NYT Article

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/01/business/how-d…

What are this forum's thoughts on this article about Ray Dalio and Bridgewater from the New York Times? It basically claims that the Holy Grail and idea meritocracy ideas he keeps talking about are total BS and that he's making all the trading decisions himself. The article also claims he is using his outsized influence to manipulate governments and central banks in a way that benefits his positions.
