Recruiting for Distressed / Opportunistic Credit from LevFin
Question is in the title. I’m starting full-time at a LevFin group this summer and ultimately would like to end up in one of these buy-side roles. I know that the most seamless path is from RX, but what are my chances if lateraling isn’t an option.
Can anyone name some funds where you’ve seen this move before? If so, what are some of them? Can be public or private credit focused.
I’m ultimately trying to gauge how necessary (if at all) it is to try and lateral to RX. Don’t want to if I don’t need to.
Thanks!
Bruh its too early for that. Just do well in your levfin group first and keep talking to recruiters. When the time comes you will get your chance.
Btw wtf is your handle PM in accounting???
Bet. It’s easy to get wrapped up in all this as you probably remember. Especially with oncycle being so early.
