I've heard referral fees are typically anywhere from 20-25% of fees earned on money brought in under management. I was just wondering if those numbers stay the same for fund employees, or do they get a little something extra? I would also assume if someone can bring in an 8 figure commitment to a smaller fund, that would help greatly with hiring/promoting decisions.
