Resources to learn more about hedgefunds and what they do etc.

Hey everyone! I want to apologize beforehand if this isn't a good question, but my knowledge in this area is pretty limited. I recently received a summer 2026 bulge bracket IB offer. As a result, since i have a lot of time on my hands for this summer, I've been very curious about hedge funds and how they generally operate and what sort of work and knowledge analysts/associates have.

I know there are numerous youtube videos online, but I feel like none of them really go into the details, which is what im interested in. I want to learn as much as I can, and I do want to eventually exit into a hedgefund. Is there like a free course where I can learn everything? books i should read? I know the work that bankers do is probably pretty different than what those at hedgefunds do. any advice or insights would help. Thanks!
