Sending Stock Pitch for internships - what model, if any, should I use?
So I'll be sending some stock pitches to some HF's and AM's in search of an internship. From my research it looks like doing DCF's and other more 'academic' financial modeling isn't really used all that much in the real world. I could be completely wrong, but that is the sense I am getting on WSO and other sources.
So my question is, should I include any financial model with my stock pitch?
If your pitch has estimates/valuation stuff then yea you should include the relevant model excerpts to show how you got there. But don't send the excel file or just copy and paste the whole thing somewhere in your pitch.
