Small Fund Internship?
Hey WSO. Currently considering an internship at a small HF with ~100m AUM. I understand that that's low, but the founder is an activist and constantly appears on BBG, CNBC, etc. Also, the fund is up ~29% this year already and seems to be quickly gaining traction. Any idea if an internship like this is worth it long term? I am currently finishing my first year at undergrad. Thanks!
Also, forgot to mention. I have an AM internship next summer in their value fund. Long term goal is to end up in HF or MF.
Absolutely worth it.
And I'm not just saying it, I actually did it AND with even less than 100m AUM. You will gain invaluable experience and I would highly recommend it.
