Smaller Activist Funds?
Anyone know of smaller activist funds like coliseum capital management? Would love anything consumer focused.
I would also appreciate any good reads focused on the space.

Not consumer, but Engine No. 1 has been active over the past few years - most notably with Exxon. They manage ~$500M, and Chris James previously cofounded Andor with investor Dan Benton.

They kind of sold out and went the ETF route.
Mudrick Capital
Ancora and Macellum have both been in the news the past few years.
Jana Partners is not that small ($1B+ AUM) but has been pretty active in the last few years. Also would look at ongoing situations with Kohl's, Wendy's, Macy's, Unilever, etc. if you're interested in activism in consumer.
didn't jana used to be much bigger? what happened to them?
