I just got cut from a L/S fund (NYC) in a final round and am sort of at a lost of words. Obviously incredibly competitive and I’ve now gotten cut after 2 different final rounds, but my question is.
What are the funds that take sophomores? I’ve reached out to all the ones ppl apply to and haven’t heard anything. What should I do?

For reference I could probably get some stupid nepo based internship so I can recruit well for SA27, but I want to work at a fund that will provide ample opportunity for me to learn rather than wasting a summer.
I got far in funds that are high profile (legendary spinoff and then another top 10 performing fund) but can’t seem to close the deal, which I feel has been extremely discouraging.
