I've been working as a technical person in a small prop-shop, designing and building HFT trading systems, and recently I started my own consulting shop, hopefully, to do the same thing for prop-shops and hedge funds.
Is there any advice on how to approach and land customers? From your experience in these firms, has anybody seen this kind of services being delivered by outsider service provider?
