Stockbridge?
Anyone know anything about Stockbridge (Berkshire partners hedge fund)? Looks like $6B AUM and a pretty lean team with backing of the Berkshire PE platform so seems like a solid setup.
Are they an actual HF or more a hold co for Berkshire IPOs? They claim to be super thesis driven and the whole “PE approach to public markets”, but seems like they live this a bit more than most HFs (looks like a few very concentrated positions)?
Just curious if anyone has experience / knowledge with them or know anything about comp / performance / culture etc. interviewing for a role there soon. Thanks!
all I know is very poor performance this year, think they were in a bunch of large cap tech names. And long-only lol
