Things to expect when meeting with HF recruiter

Does anybody know about first meetings with these guys? I want to tell them I am interested in moving to a HF from PE. I plan on telling them I am more interested in markets as it turns out I don't really like "deal" work so much as pure investing. I also want to tell them I am interested in consumer and/or technology focused roles, ideally at a single manager.

What else should I be prepared to talk about? Do I need to have a pitch ready? If so, to what level of detail should I have a pitch prepared? What else should I prepare? Should I name a couple of their clients that I am particularly interested in?

I have no experience public market investing, not even from a personal portfolio. I developed the interest while at my PE fund but we are not allowed to trade. I have good grades from a semi-target (e.g., Brown / Duke / Northwestern / Dartmouth) and a liberal arts major (e.g., History, Political Science, Philosophy) if that is relevant.

Thank you.
