Thoughts on a large team (10+ ppl) at a MM?

I am in discussion with a 10-15 people team at MLP/P72/Citadel where they have several PMs, analysts, quant researchers. The people are all insanely smart and I am joining as an analyst. I am currently at a small fund with 2 people in total. I'm interested in this new role becase I feel I can learn a lot more but also worried I may be silo-ed into one specific task within the team or there could be politics. What is everyone's thoughts on the super large team structure? Is it worth it to go from a small team to a big one?
