What? Why are you asking “how bad is it”?

I don’t think you guys understand the delta between citadel (any of Surveyor, Ashler, Global Equities) vs the L/S pods at MLP, BAM, P72 etc. Citadel is the only one that actually imposes their process on each team and forces you to run tighter.

There are not-so-good teams at Citadel, but the average team at Citadel is a lot better than the average at the other pods and vs most single managers (at least from a process standpoint).

I have been hard pressed to find anything in particular about Ashler. There’s only a couple posts on WSO and even less on Reddit. How would you recommend I take a look at turnover or other info?

Relative to GE the team structure is more US centric, and greater capital commitment / book size per PM and Analyst. Seem to have been consolidated a few pods as part of a turnover. Matt Simon runs the show there. Practically speaking everything else about it is just Citadel, you just have another name in your email signature to enable corporate access so the CFO's don't ask why there's 7 citadel analysts in the meeting.
