Too late to start again?

Hey, monkeys.

I’m a 22 yo female and some doubts are killing me lately.

I come from an emerging country and recently moved to the US searching for better opportunities. In my country, I used to be a business student at a good university and was an intern for 2 years for a major investment banking player in my whole continent (yep, continent). I didn’t have amazing grades at uni because I worked a lot and my focus was to come to USA.

The thing is, I’ll only be able to start studying here next year. I’ll be 23 and will have to restart in a community college. I have high hopes of transferring to a top uni or at least really good one. By the time I graduate, I’ll be like 27. That’s killing me. I was supposed to graduate this year in my country.

My focus are hedge funds 100%, it’s my passion and I know I do a great job at it. But I’m not sure if I’ll even be able to get any junior job at 27.

What do you guys think? Is there hope for me yet? Haha
