I was doing some researches about Hedge Fund as an intern and was asked to provide a list of Top 20 short focused Hedge Fund. However, I can hardly find any short basis Hedge fund by searching online. Anyone has an idea about which Hedge funds focus on short? Or any website I can find this information?

They don’t really exists. I think there are half dozen to maybe a dozen firms that specialize in shorting.
Citron, chanos and a few other guys. Problem is it’s tough to make much money shorting compared to being long only. So only weirdos specialize in it.
Long/short space is more popular where the shorts are primarily used to reduce vol and hopefully break even.
