Transfer from FoF to Hedge Fund after 2-3 years

Hi I am starting to work at a FoF which is doing PE, infrastructure and private debt. Currently I am holding an undergraduate degree but I am planning to start with the King´s College Msc Banking and Finance. I will do the Msc besides my work of the FoF.
My goal is to transfer into a HF after graduating from King´s College in 2-3 years.
What do think are the chances or is my start at the FoF a dead-end?
