Two sigma offer timeline?
So, a few weeks ago I received a verbal offer from a recruiter at two sigma. I was told it usually likes a couple weeks for the written offer to come but it’s been over a month now. Is this normal?

Hey man, Data Analyst. I have been waiting a while since the verbal offer.
Took almost two months for my offer. Offers take longer at the beginning of the year and end of summer.
Is that after you got the verbal offer? I’m just trying to understand the initial timeline because I was first told a week or so max.
While a month is unusual, TS offers need to go through a (comp) committee which adds time to go from verbal to written. Some will be straightforward, others managers will need to fight for it (especially in the non-QR/SWE roles). It also depends on how many offers are being reviewed.
They’re known to have slow turn around for offer letters. Apparently all the details goes to the founders and they review and sign off on the offer package, if one is out of office it holds up the process.
Been like 5-6 weeks since verbal at this point. Do you know the average length to receive written?
