US Citizen Expat PA Investing in UK
Im reading up about the conflicting US PFIC rules and the UK HMRC complaint pooled fund rules and it seems like Americans are just sort of fucked if we want to invest in ETFs of any sort? I've held mostly leveraged ETFs and the only funds that seem compliant in both regimes are a couple of Vanguard funds.Do people know ways around this? I'm thinking of setting up an S Corp based in the US, soley owned where I just put my PA investments - is this a thing people do?
