Venture Capital Exit Opps?

Hello everyone, I hope all is well.

To offer background about myself, I attend Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business in NYC, majoring in Finance & Investments and minoring in Communications Studies and currently an intern in Sales & Trading.

I wanted to ask if anyone here knows of people who have pursued venture capital. If so what were their credentials (specialized degrees and experiences)? Would I need to obtain a specialized degree such as an MBA or a PhD to build links/experience or could my position be sufficient enough?

This is an industry that caught my attention a while back and I would love to be a part of this role later down the line. A lot of these people make profound impacts and are often times have tech/science backgrounds.

In advance, I appreciate any insight and pointers to do follow this path.

Best VCs are former founders of successful startups themselves. PhD, MBA, don’t matter. Track record / experience is king.
