Is there actually a tier system or rather the top 3 and everyone else I wonder. Given inferior talent outside the top 3 question is how smaller platforms can sustainably last as a business. Maybe a niche strategy here and there, but I wonder what LPs put their dollars into smaller platforms.

 

Think this board is equity focused. They are better than others in other asset classes, namely credit.

 

Big 3 (BAM a distant 4th) more established in the MM model, Brevan is not the name it once was nor does it get the best talent.
