They are one of the largest names in structured credit and invest in many different asset types.

Which part of the firm were you introduced to? Believe they do liquid credit, private credit, and they used to do private equity but pretty sure they stopped. I think their private credit is similar to like an Atalaya in that they will do pretty interesting, structured credit deals and have the ability/creativity to do most anything as long as the price is right.

The internship program rotates through 3 of their strategies. Private credit, CRE Lending, CRE Equity, and ABS/CMBS/RMBS trading. Any advice for this or IB?

Is this internship for summer after junior year? If so, do they have a track record of giving interns full time offers? Do they have a good training program? Also depends on what you want to do long term. If you're looking to do traditional private equity / or work on traditional deals then I'd probably go IB. If I remember correctly, their PE side is focused on FIG deals. And their credit side is obviously not traditional leveraged cash flow lending.
