How much of that is base, cut of management fee etc? Is the bonus discretionary or what’s the cut for PMs?
A lot - anywhere from $5M to well over $25M+ in a good year depending on fund size you are managing. Heard of some partners clearing $50M in a year

Any broad idea whether it’s discretionary or a % cut as it is for HFs? Think L/S product fairly small within the firm, maybe economics differ for that product.

any idea what the % cut on the P&L is? And what’s the base for PMs? These absolute sums being thrown out make little sense, all depends on AuM, P&L, expenses taken on by PM etc. just curious if total comps differs much vs HFs.

PM who managed a multi billion $ fund made $10M last year. It was above average performance but wasn’t anything crazy.
