What are the things that PMs wish their analysts understood?
Since I have never been a PM, I wonder what are the things that a PM would want their analyst to “get”. Obviously, they are idea generators and you want those ideas to make money more often than not. But I am thinking more about what PMs wish their analysts would appreciate about their part of the job? (I.e. thinking about risk-reward, portfolio construction or anything else).
