What should I put for the location of a remote internship on my resume?
I recently started working remotely at a SM HF in NYC as an undergraduate analyst doing research on potential and current investments. However, I am wondering what I should put as the location for this position on my resume? This might sound like a dumb question, but would it be frowned upon to put "New York, NY" on my resume, despite the position being remote? I could of course just put "remote" as the location; however, I think that looks worse. Does anyone have feedback and/or an opinion on this topic?
People are going to focus on which firm you worked for, and less concerned about where they are located.
Just put the location. For my virtual summer analyst internship I put the location on my resume and was advised that that’s what you should do (vs putting “remote work”).
