What to do after hedge fund blowout?

Hi all. I am an experienced analyst 7 years out of school (2 in IBD, 5 in HFs) trying to figure out next steps for my career since I was recently laid off. This is the third time I have been on a team that's blown out (all at large platform multi managers) and I'm finding that the HF hiring market remains difficult for experienced analysts. Does anyone have advice on/experience with/know someone who has reinvented their career/changed industries with a similar background to mine? Send me a PM if you have ideas.

I'm more junior than you (2 years experience), but I had the same thing happen to me earlier this year.

I transitioned from short term equity trading to being an equity analyst at a PWM firm.

Pm me and I'd be happy to give you greater details. Maybe some of it could be useful for you.
