What’s the difference ??

Hi, sorry in advance but I’m really new with all this. I know IB I’ve done it, I know PE as well and what they do.

But what’s HF and VC: what do they do and what do the analysts do on a daily basis? What is interesting about these institutions and how do they work?

Thanks for your answers !

HF and VC are fundamentally different. HF focuses on public markets, whereas VC on private ones. HF looks at often established firms while VCs look at businesses just starting out.

I'd recommend doing more personal research, WSO is best used for niche questions.
