When the bonus is paid?
Hi,
Very practical question as it's my first year as equity analyst.
When do you generally receive your bonus? I never talked about it with my boss.
P&L is stopped at 31st of december.

My recommendation: talk to your boss about it…
Most firms that collect fees on a calendar year will pay Jan/Feb once numbers are finalized. I’ve seen some pay in Dec (where the pay isn’t directly pnl linked, which it isn’t for many junior people). And of course some wait longer (and do deferrals, etc). So definitely ask your boss.

My team gets number 1 week after books close, paid the next.
