Which firms are considered the breeding grounds of future hedge fund managers?
There is a notion in the industry: GE, McKinsey, Unilever are tipped to be the companies which produce future CEOs. Is there an equivalent for a investment firm? I know that Julian Robertson's tiger fund resulted in a number of funds which are now collectively known as tiger cubs.
