Which intern offer to accept?
I've got internship offers from nvidia (gpu architecht role) and akuna capital (c++ swe). which one would be better?
Full time pay stats:
akuna total ctc: around 240k (base ~150k)
nvidia: around 200k (base ~170k)
please shed some lights on which has better scope and conversion rate to full time job
Far from my area of expertise but GPU Architect vs. C++ SWE are quite different jobs, what are you more interested in?
Im interested in c++ swe but am having a hard time after reading all negative reviews about akuna on various forums
I'd probably go NVDA. Your doubts are valid, NVDA is great, and comp difference is unsubstantial
people who answered Akuna are brainwashed by finance. After a few years at Nvidia, you can get to wherever HF you want as a SWE (after interviewing ofc)
Why are you asking this to a bunch of finance bros
Ultimately, the "correct" answer to this question depends on the future performance of NVDA. Do you have a view on that?
Grok, which should he take? Make no mistakes.
Nvidia 1000x and it's not even close.
But akuna pays much more ??
