Will HH tell me if i got rejected?

Been interviewing for HF Analyst roles through HHs and have yet to hear anything back from a couple promising interviews that I had in the past few weeks. Will they tell me if I got rejected, or should I assume after a certain point that I just didn't get it?

If you're working with one of the major (i.e., DSP or S1) HF recruiters, more likely than not you won't get any feedback from interviews unless you're late-stage in a process (and even then you often have to proactively ask for feedback). My general experience / rule is that if you haven't heard anything in 2-3+ weeks (unless the HH explicitly says it will be longer) it's probably safe to assume you didn't move on

Headhunters in HF are literally the scum of the earth. They will say anything to get your resume and then ghost you as soon as you don’t pan out. They all have the best relationships at all of the top funds, have placed everyone everywhere, always are different than the “standard recruiter”, really care about your career. All BS. Always better to go through personal connections

They don't tell you just to keep their options open (in case other preferred candidates fall though), as opposed to telling you no which closes the door

I've dealt with a few good recruiters, but 90% are the type described above. They either ghost you or say something generic. However, you do have a better chance of getting a straight answer from an outside recruiter than anyone in the company itself.
