Written Interview Question - Discuss a business that you would start with $100k?

Hello everyone, I'm interviewing with a hedge fund and as part of their assessment, here is the question I have to work on : Discuss a business that you would start with 100k, be specific on how to spend 100k, and the biggest reason for failure and how to mitigate it.

I was wondering if anyone had experience of successfully answering this type of a question. What would be a good strategy to answer this question or any advise that you think is relevant is much appreciated.
