The Ascent of Money is a pretty good overview of the history of banking / money (crises included). Doesn't cover all crises but Lords of Finance is an interesting read about the lead up to the Great Depression.

Ascent of Money is good, but it’s more a narrative than a rigorous historical analysis of financial crises.
