Best personal laptop?

Just curious what people are considering to be a great personal laptop for college students and/ or just in general?

Was looking to pickup a Thinkpad, not sure which one yet so any advice would be appreciated

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Lenovo ThinkPads are highly recommended for their durability, excellent keyboards, and overall performance. A user mentioned getting a top model ThinkPad with a student discount for $650, which handles multiple tabs, Excel, and PowerPoint without losing speed.

For college students or general use, consider the following specs for a ThinkPad or any laptop: - 9th Gen or newer Intel i5/i7 processor - 8GB+ DDR4 RAM - SSD storage (preferably hybrid if possible) - Good battery life - High-quality screen and comfortable keyboard

If you're looking for a specific model, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a premium choice, though it might be on the pricier side. For a more budget-friendly option, explore the ThinkPad E or T series.
