College student with many question

Good Afternoon,

I am an college student in progress of my undergraduate degree. I am majoring in Fine Arts/ Entrepreneurial management. I started college four years late so I am currently well into my adult years (24) to be exact, I am in my junior year and can almost see the end of the tunnel. Of course with many college student we have issue with paying for school, housing, insurance, etc and I am doing everything I can to maintain what I have and stay in school! It's really hard to work full time and go to school full time almost impossible, so I decided to use my talents to start a business for myself doing photography, event planning, and creating business materials. I have also began to take lots of on set extra jobs when I can find the in my area. I feel I am doing the best I can with what I have but want some advice and mentorship from a true professional. Someone who can give me great advice. What do you suggest? What were some things you have done in college that help you make it through? Please let me know, I am not giving up ( I may want to at times) but I refused too, I just want to find ways to assist me through this journey!

Not sure what exactly you're looking for. But I can tell you that you should probably be thinking about what you want to do after college. Are you going to be an entrepreneur? Either way I would be spending time (at least definitely your summer) interning in your field of choice. If you're planning to start a business, I suppose it would be for free, but intern with small startup to see what it's like in the real world.

If you're targeting an industry first, you need experience there. This is especially true because fine arts doesn't teach you any technical or tangible skills. Entrepreneurship maybe slightly, but not much. People without relevant internship/job experience end up without jobs post college far too often.

As far as during school, do whatever you can to make money. It's only for another few years, so you don't have time to waste "ramping something up", unless it's a business that you'll run after college.

I am guessing that you mean bottom up research, in which case the original sources, just read the footnotes, are always the best, but if you are looking for data, IMO, Morning Star is the best.
