Today, passive investment strategies a la index funds seem to be the popular go to for many investors. Upon reading some of Patrick O’Shaughnessy’s work on his website, “Investor’s Field Guide,” he claims that “rules based strategies that are truly active And not merely tilts towards value and momentum” will be the future most popular asset management strategy. I am wondering what your take on this is and ideas on what the next major movement in asset management will be?
