I’m sitting on all cash… what do I do?
So I recently started working and collected around ~100k that is honestly just sitting in my bank account. I’m not invested at all and am ignorant on where I should put my money. I’m 2 years out of school so I don’t want a super conservative portfolio but also wouldn’t put a bunch of money in crypto and call it a strategy.
Anyone have a portfolio mix or diversification strategy they can share?
I mean if this is something you’re going to sit and hold, just put it in a total market ETF with low fees. If you want to be more active you can drill down to specific sectors, themes, etc.
But really if your time horizon is 10+ years just ride the market imo. I’m sure others will have different views.
I heard sports betting has decent ROI
I’m thankful I’ve faced the fact that I suck at sports betting before I’m on any kind of FT salary. The NBA had my number for some time ngl.
While you make your decision, if you don't have a high yield savings account put it all into 0-3 month Treasuries or a Treasury ETF in the interim.
100k on red
100k on double zero
Don't listen to that ETF horseshit
Crypto. Go big or go home
Put half on Carlos Alcaraz French Open 2025 winner
Thank me now
Good chance of this panning out, I’ll come back in a year. Have honestly thought betting a good deal on the election tho
Go to the casino and turn it into gazillions of dollars
