Just Started FT – 22 y/o – Optimizing 401(k) Mix & Contributions

Hey everyone,

Just started my full-time job (22 y/o, $83K base, based in MA), and I'm working through my 401(k) setup. I’ve already elected to contribute 6% to take full advantage of the company match. Contributions are going into the Roth 401(k).

Curious to hear how you all would recommend splitting the fund mix for someone my age. Would you go all-in on a Target Date Fund, or would you manually build a mix with equity, international, small cap, etc.? How do you think about company stock exposure this early?

Appreciate any insights — want to set this up with a long-term mindset.
