Multi-Million Payout following Mistrade

Hi all,

I’m looking for advice or contacts regarding litigation funding for a complex multi-million mistrade case. Back when I was a college student, a pricing calculation error in a structured product turned a trade of a few thousands into an 8,000,000 position - the trade was cancelled afterwards. The issue was not an isolated incident but rather systemic error that occured multiple times before, which is why there is a strong basis for claiming the full amount.

Pursuing the case requires high six-figure upfront legal and court costs, which is why external funding is needed. Even assuming a conservative success probability (~10%), the expected value is clearly positive. Counsel also estimates materially higher odds given the facts, combined with meaningful settlement potential due to the reputational risk for the counterparty.

I work in IB but don’t have enough equity to finance this on my own. I’ve spoken with a few local litigation funds, but many focus on standard damage claims and tend to hesitate with capital-markets-related cases.

Time is ticking, and I’m running out of options — any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
