Taking a leap of faith??Need Help.
As an Indian I first had decided to go to US for my investing career(AM/HF/ER) and start my own fund but after lots of researching and reading , I now believe the future is in India .The next 20-30 years will be India's golden age (for the Investment Industry). In US ,wall street/finance is a prestigious career students aspire to go ,but here only 0.001% students know anything (even heard) about IB/Investing/Stocks/Mutual funds etc. They all want to become engineers ,doctors etc. 25% billionaires in US are from finance,here just a few (5) are in this field .There is no hedge fund in India. top 10 AMC firms have 90% Aum .The best fund manager here took just $5m last year compaared with US wjo make billions or tens of millions . Indias largest AMC HDFC has $50B aum, Whole India's industries aum is $330B compared with US which has 100-200 such firms . I believe I should stay here as there is lot of potential in Indian markets. US is just saturated and extreme competition. "Dont go where the tide is , go where the tide will be"
