Which country would you trust with global hegemony in 2022?

What country would you trust the most with dominance over the known world today? (Present-day countries only, you can't resurrect long-dead empires).

My choices in no particular order:

- China (Obviously)

- Iran

- Saudi Arabia

- Japan (A bit too liberal for my tastes personally but effective economy and culture)

- United Kingdom (A bit hesitant about this, because they have been too liberal in the last several decades, although global hegemony may bring out better rulers)

- Russia (Obviously)

- Singapore (A bit too liberal for my tastes personally, but shockingly effective police state)
