Will $GME ever trade like a regular security again?

I wanted to open a discussion into the effects of having a security trade as a meme stock. Is it possible for $GME to ever trade simply as a normal security? Or has Pandora's box been opened, and the stock will forever have to be held accountable to retail traders looking for somewhere to bet all their chips in one go? I could see the argument that things will eventually revert and that the underlying will resume trading based off it's fair value to the business, but what if it doesn't? What are the implications of having a security labeled as a meme stock? Will there always be a group interested in the stock simply because of its legacy to wall street and retail traders?
