Wtf do i do wit all dis cash money

Analyst bonus season is around the corner. My whole net worth is essentially broad stock indices and it honestly feels financially unwise. Like if i dumped this whole bonus into crypto it wouldn’t even be an irresponsible allocation. But like wtf else is there to invest in? Bonds are pussy. Crypto is risky and I think the industry itself is CRINGE. Real estate requires way too much time as an analyst. And ofc I’m already so stock heavy it seems silly to own more. No?

someone wise once asked me, when you are already winning, why give yourself a chance to lose? seems you are already doing well and have not done anything stupid like most of the people around your age group. what has allowed you to keep winning? you being smart focusing on boring indices. why mess up a strategy that has helped you get this much winning?

Then plan with more conservative assumptions? I for one am not baking in a 7-10% return into my retirement assumptions.

But that's wasnt the point of my posts. The point was, if you believe you need to be diversified, then why aren't you already diversified? Getting more money shouldn't affect how you feel about the composition of your portfolio (at least at these small levels).

Are you struck by the long-term default rate on corporate bonds being ~1.5% since 1870?

Buy into a duplex or quadplex with a friend in a LCOL city and have them manage/live in it in? Assuming they co-invest, and are managing the property you could lower their rent? And lower it even more depending on occupancy rates? That's what im thinking about doing should i move to NY and have friends with dry powder in my current LCOL city.
